Patagonia

In two consecutive years, I did climbings in Patagonia. May 2024 - winter time in El Chalten, I climbed to Poso del Cuadrado, with Tomy and Jenny. We camped two nights near Piedra Negra, and climbed to Paso del Cuadrado. We also further reached a 1800m rocky peak nearby, from there we and witnessed a wonderful sunset with a grand view of Fitz Roy and Carro Torres.

During 30 March - 1 April 2023, I undertook a climb in Patagonia. My initial goal was to reach the summit of Cerro Solo (2121 meters). We firstly climbed to a location called Cerro Solo Glacier Col at 1650 meters, and camped there for the first night. We planned to push the summit on the next day morning. But as the glacier temperature significantly increased overnight, it was not safe to continue our summit push, we had to retreat.
